Institute for Innovations

The Institute for Innovations was founded in October 2016. The director of the Institute is corresponding member of BASA prof. Georgi Lambadzhiev.
Activity
The Institute for Innovation is a voluntary organization of innovators and experts, which is aimed at seeking a solution to technological, technical, managerial, methodological problems, processing or synthesis of new psychological aptitude or technologies to stimulate personal creativity, study of processes related to search for innovative solutions, theoretical modeling of creative processes and their computer simulation, theoretical modeling of structures and processes of the frontiers of knowledge, synthesis of new solutions and paradigms in interdisciplinary fields, affirming the spiritual values of people, opposed to drunkenness, drug addiction, suicide and others.
The forms of decision to problems are: know-how, patent, rationalization, algorithm, software and other.
Mission
The Institute for Innovation free of charge is looking for addressing problems of national importance for improving the quality of life in society. For this purpose, the Institute for of innovations to BASA educates and stimulates creative innovators and experts.
The training of innovators and experts from the Institute for Innovation is performed by professors researchers with high qualifications and wide range of interests.
Trainees periodically report their achievements in the field of their creative interests.
The Institute for Innovation stimulates innovation thinking as gratuitously and voluntary generating ideas in the public interest.
Aims
The Institute for Innovation is a prototype for formation of a national network of generators of ideas to solve problems.
The Institute for of innovations to BASA is a model for formation of such centers in Bulgaria and EU countries.
According to the Law on Promotion of Scientific Research (SG. 83/2010) the Institute for Innovation is a "A unique scientific infrastructure" since it offers specialized scientific service, which is unique at the national level.
The innovative idea generated by associates of the Institute for Innovation provides an opportunity for:
o resolve problem that until now has not been resolved,
o improvement (upgrading) of other proposal
o combining other proposals, and the new effect is greater than the sum of the effects of its constituent ideas.
Management
1. Director - elected and removed by the academic council of BASA.
2. Secretary - elected and removed by at least 51% of the attending staff of the Institute for Innovation.
3. Recording secretary - elected and removed by at least 51% of the attending staff of the Institute for Innovation.
Structure of the Institute for Innovation
1. Department for Applied Modeling
It includes innovators of priority technical and technological training, generating know-how.
2. Department of theoretical modeling
It includes researchers of priority interdisciplinary orientation, creating concepts in frontier areas of knowledge.
3. The Department includes focus groups. Each focus group is specialized to generate specific applications or scientific production. Focus groups are formed as a result of self-organization of employees of the Institute for Innovation. Experts and idea generators can participate simultaneously in more than one focus group or section.
Members
The Institute for Innovation includes generators of ideas and experts from various fields of knowledge.
It is necessary the members of the Institute for innovation to posses:
• priority engineering education
• multidimensional creative thinking
• motivation for gratuitous generating ideas for direct search of solution to national problems
• motivation for self-improvement.
Perspectives
1. The Institute for Innovation is looking for innovators generating ideas without compensation for solving problems of national importance.
2. If the innovator lives outside Sofia, he may submit via email to the director of the Institute for Innovation his solutions to the selected by him problems it.
3. The experts of the Institute for Innovation appreciate the ideas of addressing problems of national importance and recommend guidelines for their improvement. In particular, the innovators of the Institute for Innovation offer improvement of the received ideas.
4. The Institute for Innovation is looking for donors, sponsors or development partners (institutions, companies, individuals) to ensure the:
• teaching methods and technologies to creative search for unconventional solutions
• technical means for creative setting
• reward innovators for their rational proposals
• publication of the operating results of innovators of the Institute for Innovation
• creation of prototypes or models of innovations of innovators of the Institute for Innovation
• creation of laboratory base and staff for its attendance.
Illustrative problems subject to solutions seeking
1. Increasing the Bulgarian population in Bulgaria.
2. Overcoming the refugee threat to Bulgaria.
3. Settlement of depopulated areas in Bulgaria.
4. Increasing the country's defense capability with available funds.
5. Reduce national poverty.
6. Increasing the interest of foreign investors in Bulgaria.
7. Reduction of youth drug addiction.
8. Focus in talented Bulgarians on _ solving Bulgarian problems.
9. Reduction the brain drain from Bulgaria.
10. Return of our experts in Bulgaria.
11. Effective remedies against flooding.
12. Methods or technology for integration of the population in the spiritual aspect.
The generated ideas at the request of their authors will be published in the journal "Researcher" sent in more than seven largest libraries in the worl.
REVISION
Changes in the Concept of the Institute for Innovation can take place in judgment of more than 51% of the associates of the Institute for Innovation attending a meeting related to the revision.
