The events which the author describes, analyzes and comments are starting from the creation of the world and come to the present day. Hundreds of events and historical figures are presented with documentary precision. Like a real patriot Nikolai Petrov embedded in the world history and the Bulgarian history.
The book carries messages and presents them enthrallingly. „For the world Hope "is not entertaining reading. The main idea of its creation is cause of concern, to brighten the way of understanding. The mankind has gone through hell for hundreds of local wars, through two hot world wars and a third cold world war. The results of these are known.
Unfortunately the predatory instinct prevails today. Warlike impulses in mankind has not extinct but growing.
Since the roots of the future are in the past, it is especially important to read the history vigilantly and to make appropriate conclusions. "For the world hope. Peace and War" is a book - bell. It is a vote in support of hope.
Academician Petrov thanked the management of BASA for the organized meeting. He described how he had gave birth to the book as he said that in a "common pot" he has collected information of three branches: history, literature and journalistic works. From a structural point of view, this is a collection of historical stories and essays. An occasion for the meeting became a book with historical themes, which has become a timely and useful conversation on actual problems of today.
