Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology of Medical Faculty, Medical University, Sofia will be hosting the International workshop "Metabolic diseases: genetics, epigenetics and proteomics" at Medical Faculty, Zdrave str # 2 in Sofia, Bulgaria, from May 18-21, 2017.
It is our great pleasure to invite you to attend the International Workshop and celebrate 100 years of Medical Faculty in Sofia.
It will offer a series of education courses in the applications of prophylaxy and treatment of metabolic diseases. The program activities shall be led by experts and distinguished speakers from Bulgaria and different leading institutions worldwide. Our prospective audience includes physicians, PhD students, medical students, scientists, healthcare professionals.
It will offer a series of education courses in the applications of prophylaxy and treatment of metabolic diseases. The aim of workshop is to provide participants working in science and clinical medicine with knowledge and skills in the field of metabolic diseases. Seminar emphasizing free discussion, exchange of ideas, and demonstration of methods of practical application of skills and principle as well as the intensive course on genetic and epigenetics of diabetes and obesity will provide an interactive educational experience on an area of interest.
There will also be a number of social events during the Conference as followings: Gala dinner; visits to famous landmarks and historical sites in Sofia; and opportunities to see the traditional way of life in Bulgaria.
The workshop is a part of Grant NIRDIABO, supported by the Ministry of Education and Science in Bulgaria (2015-2017).
